It's been so long since I've had regular posts here and on YouTube. I actually really didn't think I'd be coming back.
I don't get Julep or Birchbox anymore, at least I won't be for a while, so those videos have stopped. Suddenly the guaranteed two videos a month don't happen anymore, and YouTube fell by the roadside and lay forgotten.
Getting the lighting right for a tutorial is, and always has been,hard enough, but the last few months, actually having a quiet house to film in has been near to impossible. New neighbors next door like blare music at all hours and the neighbors from downstairs like to carry on like mad men, or else have their TV at top volume. Again, YouTube kind of got left behind.
Now I'm trying to soldier through all this mess and get back to doing what I love so much- filming tutorials, reviews, and best-ofs for YouTube, with written blogs to go along with it all. I will hopefully find a way around the noise, and the lighting is getting easier to work with.
This time, I really hope to stick with it and make it work. I feel so bad letting things go for so long, or promising a video and then it never happens. I have a lot of ideas for looks, mainly inspired by video games, since that's what I've been doing with my spare time lately. WoW, mainly, but Kirby and Pokemon too, and the color inspiration is INSANE!!
Hope I haven't lost too many of you guys, and I hope you all can find something you like in my newer videos, especially now that there's the hope of a consistent theme. Also, I will still be accepting requests, no matter whether they're like what I've been doing, or where the looks are from.
